Successful IDF

Time flies when you are having fun and we had lots of fun during this year's IDF. I went to Switzerland a few days before the IDF to prep for the presentations and felt right at home working out of the company's headquarters in Bern, it's always a pleasure to go back.

This year's IDF was held in the breathtakingly beautiful city of Montreux, which brought back a lot of memories since it was at that same locale that I interpreted my first IDF back in 2001.

We had three entire mornings of interesting and informative presentations, along with afternoon workshops to deepen knowledge and clarify doubts. The distributors learned about Bernafon's newest line of products, MOVE, which is a great instrument that has been specifically designed for people who need to adapt to a variety of listening situations. They were also able to hear a great presentation by Dr. Robert M. Traynor EdD, MBA on the importance of understanding the baby boomers.

The afternoon leisure programs included a boat trip on the Geneva Lake (Lac Léman), an excursion to the Olympic Museum in Vevey, a scrumptious visit to the Cailler chocolate factory and a delicious outing to a cheese museum in the outskirts of Gruyère.

I was delighted to see everyone again and missed all those who weren't able to make, but most of all, I was thankful to Bernafon for sharing the occasion with me.
